Saturday, March 29 2025, 2 - 4pm MLC 245 About This Exam: The 2025 Kossack Exam is a two hour exam that will be held March 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We will not allow calculators on this year's test. The exam is based on the standard topics in MATH 2250-2260, but not including sequences, series, or vectors. The awards for the top three finishers will consist of certificates and modest cash prizes (totaling about $300), to be presented at the Mathematics Department Awards Day on April 16, 2025. Eligibility Requirements: You must be a current undergraduate and have not previously taken the Kossack Exam. You must be currently enrolled or have completed one of the following courses (or an equivalent) after Spring 2023: Math 2260, Math 2310H, Math 2410, Math 2410H. Any first year student who earned AP credit or equivalent for Math 2260 during Fall 2023 is also eligible.
